Deciding to Homeschool
Making the decision to take control of your children’s education can seem overwhelming. More and more families are making the decision to homeschool. It is a challenge to get started with home schooling without a helping hand so First is to get the support you need. Second is to learn about and decide on a curriculum that best suits your child's learning ability, your teaching style and your situation. Being farely new to homeschooling we have had to adjust our curriculum a few times until we found one that works for us. Mainly we do Lifepac's with some computer work with switched on schoolhouse and fill in with worksheets we find on the web. And we love to do field trips for Science and History. I was never a patient person and since homeschooling it is one thing God has helped me with, and each day gets better and I enjoy helping them learn.
Fall is my Favorite time of the year the crisp air, apple picking, going to the pumpkin patch with the kids. Spending time with the family there is nothing better. Here is a link to some great FREE Fall fun Learning unit printables.
